It is generally warmer in Tshwane than it is compared to its southern neighbour of Johannesburg.

In summer, visitors can expect warm weather, with short afternoon thunderstorms and some rain.

In winter, from June to September, the weather is relatively mild and sunny. It can get very cold in the mornings and evenings.
